DA-RT aspires to support the efforts of a diverse array of scholars and multiple types of organizations. DA-RT encourages scholars to conduct effective and valuable research to increase scholarship's credibility and legitimacy through increased transparency and openness.

Here are links to a brief history of DA-RT, two policies with which its scholars have been formally involved and another broadly interdisciplinary policy (the Center for Open Science's TOP Guidelines) that DA-RT scholars and policies helped to formulate.
